Richard went to France for some interviews and did one for Tele 7 Jours magazine, where he met Adeline. She gave him a tour of France while he was there, and they spent most of the time together. There was a real connection there, and they both knew it was love at first sight from the moment they laid eyes on each other. He spent some time with her family and felt a connection to her younger brother who was a big fan of American football. He promised to get them tickets to the Superbowl in January 1993. He regreting having to leave France, but promised to send for Adeline and she longed to tour California with Richard as her guide.
