In October 2004, the sun reported the two were dating. Ever since then, the couple has remained in the spotlight. The two married in a lavish ceremony in which they sold their wedding pictures to Ok Magazine. Not even two years into the marriage, Ashley alleged cheated on Cheryl with three different women. Shortly after the News of the World reported this, Cheryl moved out and was seen not wearing her wedding ring. During this time, she became painful thin as a result of the stress and constant media speculation surrounding her marriage. She decided to give the relationship another try without wearing her wedding ring. Whether or not, the couple was wearing their wedding rings became a national obssession. During this time, the Cole`s remained mum. Ashley wasn`t seen out and about with teammates either. When they got back together, there was little fan-fair. Recently, Cheryl revealed to the world that two weeks before the infamous article broke, Ashley and her were going to start a family. Since then, she has decided to hold off on having children despite mentioning in every interview she does wanting a baby badly. The two have since made up and continue to work on their marriage.
