After ‘Superman’ star Christopher Reeve was paralysed in 1995 in a riding accident, his devoted wife Dana stood by him despite the heartache. Christopher passed away in 2004 from heart failure, then non-smoker Dana announced she had lung cancer in 2005 and died a few months later. Although she didn’t die of a broken heart, it may have contributed to her condition. After Christopher’s accident she told him, “I still love you no matter what. You are still you.”
