Linda was a beauty queen who caught Elvis` eye on July 6, 1972. They lived together for 4 1/2 years. Besides his ex-wife Priscilla, Linda was the most significant woman in Elvis` life. The first couple years of their relationship was filled with love and happiness. However, Elvis became increasingly addicted to drugs and Linda could no longer take it. Linda claims to have saved Elvis` life many times, and insists that she left him because she didn`t want to see him die. Eight months after they broke up, Elvis died from overdosing on prescription pills.
