Jennifer and Marc met in 1998. They did a song together on Jennifers deut CD on the 6, called No Me Ames (Do Not Love Me). They stayed friends. They also did a song on Marc`s Cd Amar Sin Mentiras in 2004, the song is called Escapemonós (Let`s Escape). They got engaged and married just 4 days after his divorce was final from Dayanara Torres Delgado.

Jennifer Lopez has become a mother for the first time - after giving birth to a boy and a girl in New York. The children - fathered by the singer`s husband Marc Anthony - were born early on Friday at the North Shore University Hospital in Long Island, just eleven minutes apart.

The girl was born at 12:12am weighing five pounds seven ounces, with the boy born at 12:23am, weighing in at a heavier six pounds.

Simon Fields, Lopez`s representative, says, "Jennifer and Marc are delighted, thrilled and over the moon."

The couple went public with the baby news during a concert in Miami, Florida late last year. Lopez` father confirmed his daughter was expecting twins last month.

Lopez was reported to have checked into the medical facility on Wednesday to prepare for the impending birth.

The as-yet-unnamed tots are the fourth and fifth children for Anthony, who has three children from previous relationships.

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony`s newborn twins are named Max and Emme, Lopez`s manager Simon Fields officially confirms to PEOPLE.

The new parents welcomed their son and daughter on Feb. 22. Emme was born at 12:12 a.m. and weighed 5 lbs. 7 oz., and Max followed at 12:23 a.m., weighing 6 lbs.
