Ex-Premiership star Lee Sharpe and his model girlfriend Lucie Gardner have split - just three months after getting engaged.

Lucie left Sharpe`s home in Leeds last week to head back to London.

The couple fell in love after meeting in a London nightclub in the summer.

Ex-Man United star Sharpe, 37, was so sure of their future that he asked Lucie, 23, to marry him only a month later.

But a friend said: "After a few weeks of normal life up in Leeds, the cracks began to show."

Lee previously had a three-month fling with Abi Titmuss, but cheated on her with two women. He was also linked with Corrie star Kym Marsh.

Lee Sharpe and Lucie Gardner have no fans yet!
