Bob and Billye, as they are known by their friends, are in a committed relationship. They first met through a mutal interest in art. Billye is a painter and Bob started out to be a painter before he became and actor.
The two first met in London in the early nineties. At that time, they were both in relationships with other people, Bob with costume designer Kathy O`Rear, and Billye with musical producer Friedrich "Fritz" Kurz.
Fritz had a home at Sundance, Bob`s well-known mountain get-away and ski resort.
Billye started to spend more time at Sundance and the two became good friends.
By 1996, Bob had split from O`Rear and Billye had split from Fritz.
Bob called Billye, they`ve been together ever since.
