Adam Guettel Biography
Adam Guettel is the Tony Award winning composer of The Light in the Piazza and is the grandson of Richard Rodgers of Rodgers & Hammerstein the legendary musical theatre team. He is the son of Tony Award winning composer Mary Rodgers who composed Once Upon a Mattress. Adam Guettel composed the music for Floyd Collins and Myth & Hymns and is considered by most to be the greatest living musical theatre composer.
