Alex was born Alexander O`Lachlan on August 24, 1976 in Canberra, Australia. Alex O`Loughlin was born and raised in Australia and has been acting professionally there for years. He stands about 6`2" and his nickname is `Arod`. He is of Irish and Scottish decent and notes that his stepfather is Canadian. Alex`s parents split when he was a young boy. His mother was a nurse and his father a teacher. He has one sister. he has a son named Saxon who was born in 1998.

Never give up thats my motto. I wish Alex all the best in every thing he does but the show Moonlight was the greatest it had it all and the fans too. With an estimated 7 million tuning in on Fri. during its time slot. CBS had a brief mind loss cause who would do that to a show that had that many followers. Now there is a Vampire Diaries show coming , True Blood has signed for season three and the secon Twilight movie is coming in Nov. and they are already filming the third. Cbs was in the lead of the pack with vampires and this i nuts.
