Andreas Carlsson was born April 3, 1973 in Tingsryd, Sweden. He is best known for producing many of the teen pop mega hits in the late ninties and early 2000s. Andreas has written songs for the Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears, Nsync, Lindsay Lohan, Hilary Duff, Westlife, Dede, Play, 5ive, Celine Dion, and numerous other pop stars from 1998 to the mid 2000s.

Through his involvement with the American Idol franchaise Andreas has worked with
Bo Bice, Clay Aiken, David Arcuelta, Carrie Underwood as well as other Idol contestants. Andreas is also a judge in "Idol", the Swedish version of American Idol.
