Lemmon was born in Los Angeles, California, the son of actress Cynthia Stone and actor Jack Lemmon. Though an accomplished piano player who studied at the California Institute of the Arts, he is best known for his role as Martin "Bru" Brubaker in the TV-Series Thunder in Paradise, also featuring Hulk Hogan, and as Richard Phillips in the two television situation comedies, Duet (1987) and Open House (1989; in the second series, his supporting character became the lead while the first series` leads became supporting players). In 2006, he published A Twist of Lemmon, as a tribute to his father. It was his first book since he began his career as a writer.
He currently lives in Glastonbury, Connecticut. He has starred in two films with his legendary father Jack Lemmon: That`s Life! in 1986 and Dad in 1989.
Lemmon is married to an actress named Gina Raymond and has three children: Sydney Noel, Johnathan, and Christopher, Jr., born in 1994
