 [The poker game never materialized.] For almost three hours we sat there and watched an American classic on DVD, ... It was a night I will not soon forget. He said he has one that has to do with cars. Once we get it out to the lake, we will go over it and see if we can determine what happened, The most open, joyous, free-wheeling, celebratory city in the country is broken, hurting, down on its knees. Failing. Begging for help. Somebody turn this movie off; I don`t want to watch it anymore. I want a slow news day. I want a no news day. I`ll miss more than anything being a a part of that team. We`ve accomplished a lot in the last three years. Quite frankly, we need help. I have unwittingly and unwillingly become an emotional flashpoint. That`s made me an audience for other people`s pain. We`re pleased that Sen. Fitz-Gerald has recognized that her bill has some serious effects and probably wouldn`t pass the state Senate. | ||
