Daniel Curtis Lee started acting when he was seven years old, getting an uncredited role on the film The Rising Place in 2001. It wasn’t easy for the aspiring actor to get to where he wanted. His next project became a small role in the series First Monday, which was followed by his first big acting jobs. In 2002, he was cast in the movie Friday After Next. He later got a guest spot on the series The Shield, and later found himself joining the cast of Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide. Daniel Curtis Lee was given the role of the nerdy Simon Nelson `Cookie` Cook, enabling him to co-star with Devon Werkheiser and Lindsey Shaw on the teen comedy series. While off the set, Lee worked on his fondness for music by composing raps. His rapper name is Dan-D, and he has presented his work all around the country. In 2008, he signed on to play the character Kojo in the action comedy film Mongoose & Luther, also starring Ryan Newman, Adam Hicks, Neil Ironfield, David Ury and Hutch Dano. Other than acting and music, Daniel Curtis Lee is also known for being the captain of the defense for his high school football team, in the position of middle linebacker.
