Dave Gahan (born 9 May 1962 in Epping, Essex, United Kingdom) is the baritone lead singer for the British electronic band Depeche Mode, and is also an accomplished solo artist. Gahan has lived in New York City since 1997. Gahan describes New York as "the first place where I ever felt like I was at home". He currently lives with his third wife, Jennifer, their daughter and Jennifer`s son from a previous relationship in New York City. He also has a son from his first marriage to his teenage sweetheart, Joanne.
