Absolutely riveting as Oskar the drummer in the film adaptation of The Tin Drum. Powerful, absorbing and utterly authentic, his portrayal of young Oskar the drummer boy who shatters windows when he screams and inadvertently is responsible for the death`s of all three(!) of his parents. Set against the outbreak of world war 2 and the rise of the third reich. I`ve never seen him in anything else, but what a performance.
