Demi Lovato was born in Dallas, Texas. Demi has two sisters: Dallas, who is also and actress/singer is 5 years older than Demi, and Madison, who is 10 years younger than Demi. Demi`s parents divorced in 1994 and rarely sees her. But, the father and daughter saw each other for the first time in 4 years with a surprise visit in February 2008 by Demi.
Lovato attended school in the Grapevine-Colleyville Independent School District where she went to Cross Timbers Middle School. She was in a choir class for 3 years there. Demi is currently home schooled by a tutor because of her career. Demi had won many talent competitions in Texas and also grew up performing for venues.
