She has been quoted as saying she liked doing Westerns, but she was glad "Battle Cry" broke the mold for her and she was no longer typecast as "only a Western star". Ms. Malone is a woman to be admired, not only for her hours of entertainment she has given her public the many movies in which she has appeared.
