 It`s just one game. I want to be here for the long haul, playing in December and January. It`s a good start. I`m happy, but I`m not content. I know it probably sounds like we won a championship or something, but I feel good. It felt good, it was a good start, a confidence builder. You`re more optimistic than I that bootleggers will move into the regulated areas. As much bad stuff (as) they say about T.C., I`ll give him that much. You take away the little nitpicky things, but he wanted to win. Guys were ticked off at him, but somehow you developed that sense of passion, too. You were scared not to come in here rested, because he was going to drill you and put your butt in the dirt. It felt good. It was a good start. It was a confidence builder. Physically, I felt OK and I didn`t have any setbacks. It is a good sign, so far. You can`t count out a guy who`s been to that many Pro Bowls. He`s a Hall of Famer, in my opinion. He`s a big-time playmaker. I don`t want to get too excited, but I`m going to cherish this moment. It was a pretty serious injury. I was on the couch thinking, `What am I going to do without football? As much bad stuff they say about TC . . . you take away the little nit-picky things, but he wanted to win, Everybody has to be accountable. We`re going to (have to) stay out of trouble and not having guys tired out in the streets from partying all the time. | ||
