 That was Jeff`s escape. But without Shane . . . I?m not happy we lost but the effort was there, ... That?s the kind of intensity we?re looking for. When somebody tells you that something could have been done, that maybe a phone call to 911 could have saved him, that`s when you start to beat yourself up. I think that`s when the depression set in more than anything. The frustrating events involving some Jockey Club charges concerning my conduct, which were dropped then re-formed, have dealt a fatal blow to my chances of securing more than a couple of regular rides this year and made my decision inevitable. I`m proud to have ridden winners all over the globe including most of Europe, Barbados, Canada, Hong Kong, India and Singapore. Absolutely, like Roger Clemens. He already should`ve won 300 games and be headed to Cooperstown, ... It saddens me. Doc`s a great guy. I hope he gets his life straightened out. If he doesn`t, he`ll find himself dead in a gutter one day. We continue to be far from that mark here in New Jersey. Once again, a confluence of pressures, ranging from inadequate payments from governmental payers to a growing number of uninsured all contributed to the stagnant bottom lines. We`ve been together for 22 years, ... It`s been a rewarding friendship. He`s done an awful lot for the community and his players. Obviously he is going to be missed on the soccer field. He`s been great for the community. On a personal note, he`s one of my best friends. But, he`s not going away — he`ll still be out there coaching. This game we hung in there, we fought, ... They gave it all they had. By consolidating and simplifying our data warehousing platforms, we believe that considerable cost savings and operating efficiencies can be achieved across the company.
