Gary LeVox (born Gary Wayne Vernon, Jr. on July 10, 1970 in Columbus, Ohio) is the lead vocalist of American country trio Rascal Flatts. His stage name literally means “Gary the Voice.” Jay DeMarcus is also a member of the group.

Gary`s first musical performance was at the age of nine, in a play at his church. Gary graduated from Olentangy High School and is an alumnus of the Ohio State University. Prompted by his cousin, LeVox moved to Nashville, Tennessee in 1997.

On May 15, 1999, LeVox married his wife, Tara, who is from Saraland, AL. They have two daughters, whose names are Brittany and Brooklyn.
