|
Composer, conductor and songwriter ("I Cried For You", "Sweet and Lovely"), leader of his own orchestra, he toured Europe and the US, appearing in theaters, night clubs and ballrooms. He joined ASCAP in 1925, and his chief musical collaborators include Arthur Freed, Jules Lemare, Abe Lyman and Harry Tobias. His popular song compositions also include "One Kiss"; "It Might Have Been You"; "After All is Said and Done"; "I`m Gonna Get You", and "It Must Be True".
