 It`s exciting he didn`t have his best stuff and he still kept us in the game. Whatever manager we`re playing for, whether it be Pete or Lloyd, we come out with the same goal to win games. We`re not looking for a fresh start, we`re looking to get back on track. As hitters, we got dominated. This is lucky. (Clemens) absolutely shoved it down our throats. That`s why you give all the credit to Kip for keeping it close. It`s kind of different because you`ve never seen him pitch before, never played behind him, You could tell he thought it was the third out. I don`t think it was a bad play to go for it. But Eckstein made a good play. He threw the ball well for a guy making his debut and not pitching for a while. I think he`ll really help them down the stretch. It was awesome to watch a guy come up here in his major-league debut and do what he did. It`s like taking a shower in a raincoat! If the stoopid girls would just take the pill, or get a patch, I would be going to Harvard! You look at our record the last five years and you knew it was pretty much inevitable. You`re thinking, `Not again. But the good thing it isn`t serious. | ||
