Jade Cerisa Lorraine Goody (born 5 June 1981) is a British television celebrity. She become famous after appearing on the Channel 4 reality show Big Brother in 2002 and, unlike most Big Brother housemates, went on to become a household name through media coverage, her television programmes and the launch of her own products. In January 2007, she became one of the housemates in Celebrity Big Brother, and was soon at the centre of allegations of racist bullying against the Indian actress Shilpa Shetty. Following her eviction from the show, she denied being a racist and made many public apologies. In August 2008, she appeared on the Indian version of Big Brother, Bigg Boss, before withdrawing when she was diagnosed with cancer. Contents. Her mother Jackiey, husband Jack Tweed, and family friend Kevin Adams were by Goody`s bedside when she died. She is to be buried near her home in Epping Forest.
