 We played well, sweeping doubles and winning three out of four singles matches in straight sets. He`s got a lot of athletic ability and he`s learning fast. They battled pretty well, There are always connections, people related to somebody. We want to show our firefighters what they mean to us, and working to give back to them in any way we possibly can. In a town like New Kensington, small communities, you`ll find everybody is related to somebody, It`s great (to get that first win) going into conference play, ... And it`s great going into a bye week, with the kids refreshed and knowing that the techniques they are working on in practice are paying off. It was a great way to open the season — having kids have to work for their matches. Bellingham`s pretty tough. They`re solid all the way through. They don`t seem to have any weak spots. They`ve got a good crew of singles players, and their doubles are good too. We just got outplayed today. | ||
