Following in the footsteps of his famous father, Twisted Sister frontman Dee Snider, Jesse Blaze Snider writes and performs with Baptized by Fire (aka BFX).
Jesse has a long list of accomplishments under his belt, including partnering with Marvel Comics. In 2007, he worked on the first installment of a four-issue prequel to Strangeland, a horror film written by and starring his father. Then, in 2008, he wrote a story featuring the character Deadpool in Marvel Comics Presents #10.
Jesse Blaze Snider is also a voice actor that can be heard on various radio and TV commercials, including ads for GameStop and Burger King. He says it`s "really cool," especially since he used to work at GameStop making minimum wage!
As if all that weren`t enough, Jesse has been a VJ for MTV2, Fuse and AOL`s Top 11 Countdown and a DJ on New York radio stations WBON and WLIR. He appeared in PlayStation 2`s SingStar `80s and was the music consultant on the Strangeland soundtrack, saying, "It was pretty much my own personal late-`90s metal mix tape. If you liked it, you`ve got good taste."
A national champion semi-pro football player for the Brooklyn Mariners, Jesse Blaze Snider used to coach gymnastics in his spare time. These days, though, he doesn`t have any spare time! But he sometimes loves to "flip up a storm" while onstage with BXF -- and he`ll surely be flexing his muscles during Rock the Cradle.
