JoeDon Rooney Biography
Joe Don Rooney was born on September 13, 1975 in Baxter Springs, Kansas and was raised in Picher, Oklahoma. His first band, Unclethumbtack, was formed in Miami, Oklahoma with Erin and Greg Fitzgibbon in 1992-1997. Joe Don is currently the lead guitarist and a harmony singer in the American country pop trio Rascal Flatts. In addition to electric guitar, he plays the acoustic and bass guitars, as well as mandolin.
