 The past two games the coaches were trying to see who was going to be their go-to guys. I wanted to be out there with my teammates. It just doesn`t feel right when you`re not out there. It`s a big difference. At first, it was different, but it`s not an issue at all (now). You`ve got your teammates, and there`s 109 guys who are your friends already, so it really doesn`t matter. I didn`t really know about the school, but I knew about Coach Harbaugh from his playing days. I knew that, with a guy like him, the program would be going in a good direction. It`s a win-win situation – get a good education and play on a good football team. It`s a simple process, but it can save a lot of money. He said he had one big pass left. I want it so bad. I experienced a championship in high school, but that`s in the past. I want to experience one here, and I want to get that just for (the upperclassmen). We came back and played great in that fourth quarter. I`m not even going to say the third quarter. We played great in the fourth quarter. That was just the heart of a champion coming out there. We have a lot of talent for a nonscholarship team. People just don`t understand. They`re thinking, `nonscholarship, I-AA, midmajor.` Don`t let that fool you. This is a whole other level. It doesn`t get better than this. I had the mind-set that any school that wanted me, I was going to go there. | ||
