 We work hard in practice. They make such a great game plan during the week, it makes it so easy in the game. We cannot play our best game and still put out the win. Penalties, stupid mistakes, things that used to get us down, we`re able to overcome now. That`s the definition of a good team. We`ve got to keep going out and doing our thing. Don`t listen to anything anybody`s saying because it can turn bad as quickly as it turned good. Yeah it`s a big rivalry. We`ve been doing a lot of talking over the summer. Ever since the schedules came out everyone was looking forward to this game. You ride it as hard as you can, as fast as you can, and see where we get at the end of things. This game is over with, and we`ve got to move on. It really doesn`t mean anything. There`s no excuses, but we knew we were going to play next week. It`s win or go home now. I thought Shawn was going to be nervous and scared, but he never was. He`s been really clutch so far. We`ve got a lot of guys who have experience from that last year. We don`t want to have that same feeling again. I think we felt like we had a chance to be a pretty good defense. And the only people that gave us a chance were the players and the coaches. They believed what (the original tracker) identified as places that would have been a boy crawling up the side of the hill were in fact, in their opinion, bear tracks going up and down. | ||
