 I don`t see it happening unless every NBA player is given a stipend to buy clothes. I have never been to Africa. It`s always been a dream of mine. It`s a great opportunity. I get to touch lives of people from my homeland and my blood. It`s definitely disappointing and frustrating not to get out of the first round. We had dreams of winning the championship. We`ve got a capable point guard running things. I wouldn`t trade Andre (Miller) for anybody. If he`s qualified [to win] the coach of the month, I don`t know why not [coach of the year]. He`s been valuable to this team and you`ve seen the influence he`s had on this team, so that has to count for something. It`s frustrating, especially when you don`t accomplish your goals you set out at the top of the season. Guys have to hold themselves accountable. Management will have to do something this summer to bring in the right type of guys that want to play the right way. We had aspirations of playing in June, yet once again for the third straight year, we go home in the first round. He`s really been killing guys in scrimmages, making them look real bad. I know Coach really likes him. I don`t know if they`ve got something worked out other than being a player on this team, but I think he`d be a valuable asset to us. He honestly thinks we can win 60 ballgames. | ||
