Marina Aleksandrova (Pupenina) was born in the family of Soviet oficer, artillery lieutenant-colonel Andrei Vitalievich Pupenin and teacher Irina Anatolievna Pupenina. Marina was born in Hungaria, in Soviet occupation forces settlement. In 1986 her family moved to Baikal lake region, in Siberia, then to sity of Tula, quite near Moscow, and finally stayed in Saint-Petersburg since 1987. An unrequited love story pushed her to the idea of revenge by becoming popular and well-known. So, she began the career of actress. She started her studies of dramatic art in 1996, in theatre school Voograzi ("Imagine!"). Later she entered famous Moscow Shukin thetre school. In 2006 Marina joined the troupe of Moscow Sovremennik Theatre.
