 When we were leaving, Jerry (Narron) said, `You`re going to come to Cincinnati and see us play next year,` ... He moved his thumb. His mother said that means `OK.` I got pretty choked up. Jerry did, too. We`ve been trying to find a site. That`s our biggest challenge. We did a survey a couple of years ago and the feedback we got was that this is definitely something the kids want. I continue to get phone calls asking what`s happening with the skate park. There`s definitely an interest. It was amazing how those guys lit up when he came in the room. One guy couldn`t believe it was the same Ken Griffey he saw on TV. And really, it hasn`t hurt our CD sales. People out there look at the price of a download in a different way. This is disposable music. It`s a way for them to sample something without making a large investment. They`ll pay the 99 cents for one cut and either decide to try the whole album or not. If they like it, they`ll maybe go out and purchase the CD. We thought it was rich in the $38.50 range. So we are a bit surprised by this nosebleed pricing. He`s a no-nonsense guy. He knows what`s going on in baseball. He wanted to get what we thought about the players. The Morgan Stanley bid being a dime higher I thought was almost laughable. That`s the best I`ve seen him swing in the spring in four or five years. That`s one quick bat. This is all pure profit for us, That`s a level where we just scratch our heads. | ||
