Maxine Bahns (born February 28, 1971) is an American actress, athlete, and model. She is most famous for her role in the 1995 film The Brothers McMullen. Bahns was born in Stowe, Vermont, but moved to Long Island, New York. Her father is German-American and her mother is a Chinese Brazilian immigrant, who later became a gardener. She has one sister, Brandy de St Phalle. At age 16, Bahns travelled to Barcelona, Valencia, Paris, and Rome. After returning to New York, she attended the New York University where she majored in Latin and Greek language and literature and studied for her Ph.D. in classics. She also attended the acting classes at the Beverly Hills Playhouse being taught by Milton Katselas. While studying with Ivana Chubbuck, her boyfriend, actor Edward Burns, asked her to star in a low-budget film, The Brothers McMullen, that he was making.[1]

In 2001, upon moving to Los Angeles, Maxine became involved in triathlons, and during the year she had completed the Ironman Triathlon. Bahns has also competed in a number of triathlons such as Wildflower ½ Ironman and the Keauhou ½ Ironman. She has appeared on the covers of Runner`s World, Triathlete Magazine, and FIT! Magazine.

Bahns has also been involved in modelling working for the Elite Modelling Agency. During her time as a model, she has appeared on numerous magazines including on the American, Italian, and French editions of Vogue, FHM, Sports Illustrated for Women, Self, Glamour, and Maxim.

Bahns first dated actor Edward Burns from 1989 to 1996 then broke-up. In 2001, Bahns had a relationship with actor/fashion model Jason Lewis, but ended up as a broken engagement. From 2003 to 2006, Bahns had been married to Peter Crone, who appeared as Nikos in Music Within, but divorced. On October 13, 2007, Bahns married Patrick Watson, they both live in Los Angeles, California.
