Melanie Craft Ellison (born 1969) is an American novelist, who married Oracle CEO Larry Ellison in December 2003. Craft, a native of Pittsburgh, graduated from Oberlin College with a degree in archaeology and spent a year at the American University in Cairo. Before beginning her career as an author, she worked as a bartender, a house cleaner, a pastry chef, and a safari driver as she mentions on the cover of her first book.
