Why else would she or anyone want him? Sure he`s a great musician, and I applaud his success with sobriety. Other than that, there is something very wrong with Eric Clapton. Have you read his book? The man has serious issues. Melia obviously has some of her own as well. In his book, at his 60th birthday party, Eric says Melia "fought off" guests to have her say with a speech. I thought parties were about making sure the guests - not the hostess - were happy. Worse, Clapton says he loved her for this. Even worse, he wrote this in his book. The mother`s name is Laurie and her father`s name is Walt. I watched them when they lived in Upper Arlington and then when they moved to the Dublin/Powell area. Really nice family.
