Seems like you don`t know the details. Her son ONLY went after the estate because it was the only way to get them to release the blood so he could test DNA. He wanted to know the truth as much as anyone else. One more thing, Poor Sonny told Sean he was his father.

Oh, her illigitimate son Sean, turned out not to be Sonny Bono`s son afterall. The DNA did not match and his pursuit of the Bono estate was dropped. Poor Sonny thought this was his son and had given him money throughout the years, and gave him jobs at his restaurants.
