Neil Maskell is an accomplished actor who has an excellent ear for accents, which has allowed him to play a wide range of characters from different backgrounds and areas.

He has worked endlessly in numerous films and television programmes over the past ten years. He is well known for characters such as Michael in `Soldier, Soldier`, football official Eddie in the `Thin Blue Line` and Darren Ivlly in `Wycliffe`. Other credits include `The murder of Stephen Lawrence`, `Murder Most Horrid`, `Silent Witness`, `The Football Factory`, `Shameless II` and `Inspector Lynley Mysteries`. He has also starred in the films `Crocodile Snap` - winner of the Best Short Festival in 1997, the acclaimed `Nil by Mouth`, `Swindle and Slim`, `Redemption Road`, `Fat Slags` and `Basic Instinct 2`.

Neil has a great passion for the theatre having acted in plays such as `Not God`s But Giants`, `Shoot` and `Golden Balls`. In addition he performed in a few BBC radio plays entitled `Shambolic Rainbow`, `Emile and the Detectives`, `Kings for a Penny Drink`, `The Runaways`, `The Dark Orphan` and `Comrades`.
