Sarah Jane is a popular Australian model and car buff that recently launched a career in art. She was asked earlier this year was asked along with Peter Brock to submit a painting for the Motor Show to be auctioned off for her nominated charity. The money raised went to The Williamstown Hospital in Victoria to refurbish the visitors room. Sarah Jane`s mum, Sue, was alive at this point and had no idea she was to pass away a month later. Upon Sue`s death, Sarah Jane raised further money for new hospital equipment and further redecorating for the visitors room to follow her dream and commemorate the room to her mother, naming it Susi`s corner. Sarah Jane helped fellow primary schools and kindergartens do the artwork on canvas as the decorative features of this room. It was here that she felt inspired to attempt her own art work. She booked her first exhibition (currently showing) into The Archer Bar before having bought paints and canvases. She had no idea what she was going to paint and has never drawn before either but just felt a creative urge. Sarah Jane has received great public and media interest. Sarah Jane also wants to pursue this as a professional career taking her art work worldwide. She hopes to hold several exhibitions in Europe next year with interest already from galleries overseas, surprisingly only having begun painting 3 weeks ago.
