Moved from Romania to Vienna, Austria at age 8 with his mother who was employed as a pianist. Moved to Rockland County, New York at age 12 when his mother married the Headmaster of an American private school. Graduated from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey with a BFA in Acting.
