Simone Bent is an American actress and activist. Bent is treasurer of Homies Unidos, a gang violence prevention group in L.A founded by her husband, actor Tory Garity.

Bent is the daughter of attorney Boswell Bent and Dee Bent, a banker and community organiser.

Bent became engaged to Garity in 2006 and they were married on August 27, 2007 at at Columbia University`s St. Paul`s Chapel.
