Born Yeadon Yorks, Famous stage comedian. Made talkie debut in "Splinters," and since appeared in "French Leave," Tilly of Bloomsbury," "Up for the Cup," "Splinters in the Navy," and "Mayor`s Nest." Recreation: golf.

Despite his popularity in the thirties and the twenty-odd films he appeared in, Howard is almost totally forgotten today. His most revived film is When We Are Married in which he played a drunken photographer.
