Thomas Mikal Ford (born September 5, 1969 in Long Beach, California, he`s also known/credited as Tommy Ford) is an American actor who is best known for his character Tommy in the sitcom Martin. Most of the time, Tommy was the straight man for Martin Lawrence`s jokes, often inserting logic and witty comments in odd situations.

He has done uncanny impersonations of stereotypical African-American preachers in the series as well. He was also portrayed as unemployed in the often recurring line coined by Martin: You ain`t got no job!

He also appeared in the Kid `n Play movie Class Act as Mink (a hustler), as well as in Harlem Nights starring Eddie Murphy.
