Tia Hithersay (born 1985) first came to prominence when she lifted the lid on her romance with soccer ace, Jermaine Jenas. Until then, Jenas was presumed to be gay. In her exclusive interview with the glossie, she claimed Jenas cast her aside and that she was an aspiring glamour model back in 2005.

Teen glamour girl Tia Hithersay gave up hope of ever modelling again when she was glassed by a jealous rival.

At the time, she was working as a lapdancer at clubs in Sheffield and Birmingham to fund an NVQ in travel and tourism.

The topless model from South Shields lost a tooth when a former friend plunged a brandy glass into her cheek.

Her face was turned into a mask of blood when the goblet shattered and slashed her lips, snapping off her tooth at the root and breaking her nose.

The 20-year-old became a virtual recluse following the savage attack, believing her fledgling career as a model to be in tatters as doctors told her it would cost thousands to restore her face.

Refusing to leave the house, and hiding her face in a baseball cap and scarf, the jobless trainee hairdresser piled on the pounds by gorging on chocolate and calorie-laden Chinese takeaways.

Unhappy and prescribed antidepressant medication, Tia went from a slender size 10 to a 14.

But her care worker mum, Michaela, 37, was desperate to get her daughter`s career back on track and sent in her portrait to a beauty contest.

Her faith paid off and Tia landed third place and a photo-shoot that has relaunched her modelling career.


Since then Tia has regained her former figure, modelled for lad mags Zoo and Loaded and appeared in pop videos.


It wasn`t until 2008, that we heard again from Tia again. The News of the World reported that Gabriel Agbonlahor had impregnated her along with two other women at the same time, dubbed the ultimate hat trick.
