Worked part-time as a housepainter.
His first big gig, a guest spot on the sitcom, "Growing Pains" (1985), ended up on the cutting room floor, though his name still appears in the closing credits.
On September 21, 2005, survived the emergency landing of JetBlue flight 292. He and other passengers learned of the airplane`s malfunctioning landing gear by watching coverage of their plight on headrest-mounted TV sets.
Lived next door to actress Brooke Dillman when growing up in Shawnee Mission, Kansas.
