Yin Chang is an American actress, born and raised in New York. She is currently a recurring character in The CW series Gossip Girl, from Josh Schwartz, creator of The O.C.. The show is based on the book series about the lives of New York`s two privileged Upper East Side high school students written by Cecily von Ziegesar. Chang`s character, Nelly Yuki, is Blair Waldorf`s academic rival and a threat to Waldorf`s chance of getting accepted into Yale.

Chang has also worked in Law & Order: Criminal Intent , Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Six Degrees; appearing alongside such notable actors as Chris Noth, Alicia Witt, Ice T and Dorian Missick. Some of her other works include several national commercials such as Verizon Wireless, Mastercard, Best Buy, MTV and Mead School Supplies. Chang has also been featured as the principal model for Best Buy`s Back-To-School print campaign for over 250 stores nationwide.
