Anthony`s bloodline is partly Lithuanian, but also a little Dutch (through his father) and Mohikan (through his mother). He has always been fascinated by Native American culture - hence the many tribal-tattoos and some of his lyrics on the early RHCP-albums - but he only found out about his descent a few years ago. You wouldn`t say if he was on stage, but he`s quite a small guy, 172 cm at the very most. He`s mostly dating models and they are all taller than him. He is currently dating 21 year old model Hesther Christie who gave birth to the couple`s first child, a baby boy named Everly B Kiedis, on the 2nd of October 2007.

He always drinks ginseng tea before going on stage. His father John Kiedis (aka Blackie Dammett) is an actor and president of RHCP club. His mother`s name is Margaret "Peggy" Idema. They got married on July 2nd 1960. His godfather was Sonny Bono. Published his autobiography "Scar Tissue", which peaked at number 17 on the "New York Times" bestseller list (2004). The song "Transcending" on The Red Hot Chili Peppers album "One Hot Minute" is dedicated to River Phoenix. Anthony met the Dalai Lama during a trip in India at the end of 1996. Broke his back when he was 16 when misjudging a jump from a rooftop into a pool. Has three siblings. Two sisters (Julie and Jen) and one half brother (James). In the year 1997 the band`s touring had to be cancelled after he broke his wrist and his arm in many places in a serious motorbike accident when a car suddenly pulled a U-turn. Likes to do "thrilling" things. When he was younger, Anthony and Flea used to jump off roofs for fun. Most of the songs on the band`s 2002 album, `By The Way`, were written about his ex-girlfriend, fashion designer Yohanna Logan. Practices yoga. Resides in L.A.; he also owned a house in New Zealand for a while but he recently sold it, saying he actually didn`t have enough time to go to New Zealand and didn`t need that house.
