Betty Hutton Biography |
||
|
She famously did not get along with her co-star Howard Keel in Annie Get Your Gun. Howard Keel wanted the part to go to Judy Garland. He treated Betty like she was second best. The experience was such a strain for Betty that she retired from making films turning such roles as Ado Annie in Oklahoma. Betty became a devout catholic. Estranged from her daughters for years none of them attened her funeral.
