Biography Distinctive Features Heather Christie (born January 1, 1986), also known by her nickname "Nika", is an American model, born in Simi Valley, California. She is also well known for her relationship with Red Hot Chili Peppers front man Anthony Kiedis, whom she has been dating on and off since 2004. Heather has also proved herself to be a talented photographer providing many of the images for the Red Hot Chili Peppers`s website. During her modeling career she has featured in campaigns for fashionable labels such as "Mike and Chris" and "Morphine Generation" as well as doing runway work for Los Angeles Fashion Week. She even continued modeling during her pregnancy, appearing in maternity magazines such as "Fit Pregnancy." On October 2, 2007, Christie gave birth to the couple`s first child, a son they named Everly Bear Kiedis. He was named after the 1950`s Rock and Roll band, The Everly Brothers. Kiedis has said Christie came up with the middle name. According to Kiedis she has been the inspiration for some of the songs of the Red Hot Chili Peppers album: Stadium Arcadium, songs like "She`s only 18" and Desecration Smile.
