Short BiographyAnna Chlumsky (born December 3, 1980 in Chicago, Illinois) is an American actress, born to Nancy and Frank Chlumsky. She is best known for playing Vada Sultenfuss in the 1991 movie My Girl and the 1994 sequel My Girl 2.Chlumsky graduated from Walther Lutheran High School. Chlumsky also graduated from the University of Chicago in 2002 and had worked in New York City as a researcher for Zagat, a restaurant review company, for a short while. In October 2007, Chlumsky announced her engagement to an Army reserve member who served in Afghanistan, with the date of the wedding being in March 2008[1].
