Has a twin brother named Rocky, who also auditioned for the show. Prior to American Idol, he was painting cars. In 1998, at the age of 20, his brother was involved in a minor car accident. Bucky pretended to be Rocky, and the two were charged for misleading police. Has a dog named Slim. Favorite beer to date is Corona. Favorite song is "Suspicious Minds" by Elvis Presley. Loves to boat and ride dirt bikes in his spare time. Would love to do a duet with Chad Kroeger. Favorite movie is Tombstone. Close friends with Elliott Yamin, Chris Daughtry and Kellie Pickler. Taught himself how to play guitar at 18. Can also play the drums and base guitar. Huge fan of Elvis Presley and Kid Rock.
