Short Biography

Cher is nothing less than a super star. She`s a Grammy-winning singer, an Academy Award-winning actress, songwriter, record producer, fashion icon, muse, and with a career spanning over 4 decades and Top 10 hits on the Billboard in the 1960s, 1970s, 1980s, 1990s and 2000s. In 1962 Cher moved to Hollywood in pursuit of an acting/singing career. Within a year she was working as a session singer, doing backup for some of Phil Spectors most popular songs. It was there a 16 year old Cher met a 27 year old Sonny Bono and through their collaboration they began climbing the Billboard charts while becoming quite the eccentric looking hippie couple. they were together musically and romantically from 1962-1975 and had one child together, Chastity Bono in 1969. Five days after finalizing her very public divorce from Bono Cher then married Gregg Allman (The Allman Brothers). They had one son, Elijah Blue Allman in 1976, separated in 1977 and divorced 2 years later.

Cher has been linked to many famous men including Warren Beatty, Gene Simmons, David Geffen, Val Kilmer, Tom Cruise, Richie Sambora and Eric Stoltz, just to name a few. She has also claimed to have almost had a fling with Elvis Presley though was too nervous to actually go up to his room when he invited her and says she deeply regrets turning him down.
